MOTIVATION LETTER

In writing this letter, I am interested in applying for a master’s Degree (S2) programs in Engineering and Computer Science for the Department of Business Analytics in University College London. Previously, introduce my name Tri Nugroho Putro, I was the third child of three brothers, I am a student in information system undergraduate programme at Gunadarma University. During his study in the University, I never waste time to get an awful lot of knowledge about the world of information technology and information systems that are not merely play computer just like the one I used to be in dipikiran junior high school.

Although currently I haven’t finished getting a college degree, and especially in Indonesia some people choose to work after graduation from college and holds a Bachelor’s degree. Meanwhile, some others decided to pursue a Graduate College that does not cost a little. And to continue the study to a higher level is a dream for many people.

And the development of technology in Indonesia, and the rapid emergence of new technology. Then open some great opportunities to open a business in the IT field that promises to take advantage of the sophistication of the technology that exists, and yet many people who jumped in IT field, so that the chances for success are still wide open.

My interest in the world of information technology based business already I apply by following the wide range of courses and workshops related to the creation of business applications as well as follow the race which was held by the Ministry and also I pour in the task of the study that has not been a year ago I used to do that is to make an e-commerce application system by utilizing the Application Programming Interface (API) from RajaOngkir.com as a service provider for the calculation of the average cost send in the sales system I make, even though I created this application is the application of standards, but I am proud to be able to make this application.

After I completed a Bachelor’s degree, and for the sake of grabbing the biggest dream of my life to continue in higher education, to hone the personality, adding knowledge and deepen knowledge, then I have to have the desire to learn more enterprising anymore because I am aware that with the science that I currently have is not enough to set up and plunge into the world of business entrepreneur in the field of IT before I get it, and get to know what business it is deeper, as well as how to get started to establish a good business and business development analyzing correct as to the future, determine the strategies that will be used to be able to compete in the business world, and determines the components to build systems and companies as well as predicting everything from the losses until the error about IT-based business which I will run later.

With the limitations of cost that I currently have, so I am looking for a scholarship for a master’s Degree (S2) via the website (hotcourses.co.id) to find a list of foreign universities which provides scholarships and find out the requirements to be come to prospective students in Indonesia who want to enroll in foreign universities. And I’m interested in (S2) master’s Degree programs in Engineering and Computer Science for the Department of Business Analytics in University College London. I chose this University because the University was ranked number 7 in the world (QS World University Rankings 2017-2018) which have high standards for the quality of research and teaching international-standard.

After I see a list of courses In Business studies programme Analytics teach how data can be utilised to solve the major business and societal challenges. Emphasis will be on business problem framing, leveraging data as a strategic asset, and communicating complex analytical results to stakeholders with provides students with the knowledge, technical ability and skills for leadership roles in the fields of business analytics and data science, to give students with multidisciplinary skills in computing (i.e. programming, big data), analytics (i.e. data mining, machine learning, computational complexity, statistics), and business analysis.

I really hope to get a chance to follow the master’s Degree (S2) programs in Engineering and Computer Science for the Department of Business Analytics in University College London. As I believe that this particular programme is the best step for preparing to get a Master’s degree, which would later become a very valuable experience and knowledge that I gained will be an initial capital in future to plunge into the world of business and established companies based in Indonesia, as well as IT can be useful for the progress of my country.
